Chess Notation and Clock is a combined chess timer and electronic scoresheet for games/matches. This app replaces the traditional chess clock and paper-based notation sheets.

Clock - can be turned off if only using notations.

Two Play Modes:
Validate Moves (training): Invalid moves are not allowed. Check is displayed (checkmate is not).
Match Play: Moves are not validated and check is not displayed. Check is notated in the PGN file.

PGN - handles moves like en passant, castling and promotions. Ambiguous moves are also accounted for (sometimes too much but the import engines adapt).

The app has the ability to export via AirDrop, Messages, Email or other apps that excepts text files.

Designed for match play (high school) but it is not certified for USCF tournaments.

Broadcast:
Broadcast your match to the web! This is off by default. Can be toggled on at any point during a match.

Exports:
1) A PGN (Portable Game Notation) formatted text. If entered, it will also export date, location, players and match details. This file can be imported into a chess program.

2) Two column printable notation.

Replay:
Review move by move your game.
Jump to a move number or advance to find blunders or brilliant moves.

NAGs (Numeric Annotation Glyphs):
Add blunders (??), Excellent move (!!), Draw Offered (=) and Check (+). During game review.

Designed for iPads (works best on 9.7" or 12.3")
